Chris Lynn (3421)
When he speaks, no one can resist the Lynnsanity. He, like Finch, has only ever played for the Brisbane Heat since the beginning of his BBL career.
He handed over command to wicketkeeper-batsman Jimmy Peirson just before the BBL after leading them for the majority of the seasons.
With 3421 runs scored in 113 BBL games, he holds the league record for the most fifty-sevens (27) and the most sixes. No one has ever hit 194 sixes since him!
Aaron Finch (3245 runs)
Aaron Finch, the captain of Australia’s limited overs team, may have had an IPL 2020 season, but he will be optimistic about doing well in the BBL 2021.
Aside from Lynn, Finch is the only player with more than 3172 BBL runs in the competition and the second-highest run-scorer overall. The heavy hitter has scored 3245 runs in 102 matches at a strike rate of 132.17 and an average of 35.27.
Finch has scored two hundred and 26 fifty scores while playing with the Melbourne Renegades.
Jonathan Wells(2797)
Jonathan Wells, another member of the Adelaide Strikers, is on the list of the season’s top scorers. Wells has played in 126 matches in the tournament and scored 2797 runs, which is a tie with Jason Sangha.
They will battle it out for third place throughout the remainder of the tournament. Wells currently has a 33.29 average and a 121.50 strike rate.
D’Arcy Short(2706)
The most amazing part about D’Arcy Short and his incredible run-scoring is that he has scored this many runs in half the time as the others who have done it in double the number of years played, demonstrating what a unique talent he truly is.
It is incredible for a batter to have a strike rate above 132.45 and an average of over 37.06. He is a reliable source of runs for the Hobart Hurricanes, and there is no doubt that if he continues up this pace of run production, he will reach the top of the standings.
Glenn Maxwell (2673)
As one of the top T20 players in the world, known as “the Big Show,” he has also had success in the Big Bash.
Another player who started with the Melbourne Renegades went on to score the majority of his BBL runs with the Melbourne Stars, who he is currently captaining.
He has amassed 2673 runs with 18 fifty-pluses in 100 matches played in this competition throughout the years, for a strike rate of around 150.84.

The Big Bash League record for most runs scored by a single player is 3421, which was achieved by Australian player Christopher Lynn while he was a member of the Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat from 2011 to 2023.
Glenn Maxwell, the captain of the Melbourne Stars, had the highest BBL total as of 2022 (154 runs*, off 64 balls). The only player to score a century in the championship game was Jake Weatherald, who did so against the Hobart Hurricanes.
