Most Centuries in Asia Cup Cricket

ST Jayasuriya

Sanath Jayasuriya is a Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team.

He is an all-rounder and opening batsman and is famous for the forceful batting style that has earned him the name “Master Blaster”.

His batting style submitted a new strategy to the game during the 1996 Worldcup where he and fellow opener Romesh Kaluwitharana batted highly aggressively in the first overs using fielding restrictions to their goal.

A couple of months later it had appeared that the selectors’ axe had fallen for the last time. The Indian Premier League gave him a new program to showcase his big-hitting talent, but failed to reproduce the success of the first season in subsequent campaigns was the surest sign that time had eventually caught up with a man who was yet pounding out one-day hundreds at the age of 39.

KC Sangakkara

Kumar Chokshanada Sangakkara born 27 October 1977 is a Sri Lankan cricket commentator, former professional cricketer, businessman, ICC hall of fame inductee, and the former president of Marylebone cricket club.

He is widely considered one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport. He was officially ranked in the top three batsmen in the world in all three layouts of the game at several stages of his international career.

Although supervision drew the best from him as a batsman, he persists in a voracious no. 3 in all forms despite having renounced the reins in 2011.

Sangakkara won the prime prize at 2012’s ICC awards, in extension to the award for Test Cricketer of the Year and the People’s Choice award for the second year running.

Later that year he verified himself among batting’s modern greats, by evolving the equal fastest man to 10,000 Test runs alongside Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, with the hugest Test crowd, Sri Lanka had eternally played for in audience, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

SR Tendulkar

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was born on 24 April 1973 and is knnjjjkkk

an Indian former international cricketer who captained the indian national team. He is respected as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket.

Tendulkar made 104.67 centuries in the Asia cup. In 2000,  he evolved the first batsman to have scored 50 international hundreds, In 2008 he expired Brian Lara as the leading Test run-scorer, and in the years later, he went past 13,000 Test 30,000 international runs, and 50 Test hundreds.

Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik was born on 1 February 1982 and is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the  Pakistan national cricket team and Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League(PSL).

He was the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team from 2007 to 2009. He made his one-day international debut in 1999 against the west indies and his Test debut in 2001 against Bangladesh.

On 3 November 2015, he declared his retirement from Test cricket to focus on the 2019 cricket world cup.  Shoaib Malik made 107.27 centuries in the Asia cup.

His fundamental game is strong, primarily in the subcontinent. He isn’t pretty, though there can be affordability in his high, stiff-elbowed drives and lofts. Square on both sides he is critical.

More, he runs well. With his flattish, very contemporary off-spin always useful for more than a few overs and a wicket here and there – less so after concerns over his action – and an athletic and languid presence in his performance.

RG Sharma

Rohit Gurunath Sharma is an Indian international cricketer, he is the current captain of the Indian national team.

A right-handed opening batsman and a casual right-arm off-break bowler, he is widely used as one of the most outstanding batsmen of all time in restricted overs cricket.

He made 93.2 centuries in the Asia cup.

In importance, his l batting style is an allrounder, though he began his career as an off-break bowler.

Partially the problem is that he is eligible, as a batsman, to fulfilling many positions with some competence.

He has had achievement as an opener in Tests and ODIs; he has been a game-changer as a limited-overs one down and hazardous as a lower-order slogger; often he has been a great stodgy middle-order bulwark. In the Twenty20s, he can be harsh anywhere.

V Kohli

Virat Kohli is an Indian international cricketer and former captain of the Indian national cricket team. He plays for Delhi in trained cricket and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League and is a skilled right-handed batsman.

He made 90.00 centuries in Asia cup matches.

Kohli scored hundreds in and against every country with whom he played. He absolutely broke records for the number of matches taken to reach eight, nine, ten, and eleven thousand ODI runs. He was a moral threat to Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI and 51 Test hundreds.

A Ranatunga

Deshamanya Arjuna Ranatunga is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and 1996 Cricket World Cup defeating captain for Sri Lanka.

He is respected as the pioneer who pushed the Sri Lankan cricket team from underdog status to a prominent force in the cricketing world. He made 86.1 centuries in the Asia cup.

Ranatunga had an incredible ability to keep the scoreboard ticking overusing a deft arrangement on both sides of the wicket, incorporated with fluent driving through the offside in special.

They was a tricky and useful medium-pace bowler, although his bowling was seen hardly in the later part of his career.

He lost the captaincy pursuing Sri Lanka’s poor showing in the 1999 World Cup and retired from international cricket a year deceased, but his assistance to Sri Lankan cricket is enormous.

They moved into council and was appointed chairman of the board in January 2008. He was discharged in December after a controversial tenure.

Mushfiqur Rahim

Mushfiqur Rahim is a Bangladeshi cricketer, former captain, and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team.

He is deemed the most prosperous captain of Bangladesh in Test cricket. He made 103.5 centuries in the Asia cup.

A stodgy lower-order batsman, Mushfiqur has accumulated into one of the better players of spin in the line-up. After a sluggish start to his Test career, he found form in the 2008-09 season with irritable knocks under pressure.

He has underperformed as a batsman in ODIs, but his form picked up in 2009 and he barely missed out on a virgin ODI hundred on the tour to Zimbabwe. In January 2010, he broke his maiden Test century, a notable accomplishment as it came against a strong Indian Test side and was the rapidly by a Bangladesh player.

And after Bangladesh’s surprising defeat in Zimbabwe in 2011, Mushfiqur was also distinguished in their leadership role, taking possession of as captain from Shakib Al Hasan.

MS Dhoni

He is a fantastic right-handed wicket-keeper batsman. He made 113.5 centuries in the Asia cup.

Along the way, Dhoni indicated leadership skills, which were recognized when Rahul Dravid gave up the captaincy in 2007.

Just before that statement from Dravid, Dhoni had taken a ton of kids to South Africa and was overseeing India to a World Cup win in a layout the country didn’t even take incredibly.

The ODI captaincy was natural advancement, and Anil Kumble just kept the stool warm in Tests for a year.

S Dhawan

Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian international cricketer, Being a left-handed opening batsman and a periodic right-arm off-break bowler, he plays for Punjab Kings in the IPL Indian Premier League and Delhi in first-class cricket. He made 114.00 centuries in the Asia cup.

Attractive strokes, which were evident even in the 2003-04 Under-19 World Cup where he was the Player of the competition for scoring 505 runs at 84.16 with three centuries, didn’t appear to translate into large seasons in Ranji Trophy.

His average stayed fixed in the mid-40s, but he didn’t entirely dare the choosers to overlook him. After lukewarm indicating in the IPL and five ODIs, and with the Test openers getting off well, it appeared Dhawan would be left consigned to domestic cricket and T20 leagues.
